House Rules Bed & Breakfast Ravelin

Welcome to Bed & Breakfast Ravelin. To ensure a pleasant, safe, and comfortable stay for all guests, we kindly ask you to respect the following house rules. By entering the accommodation and staying at Bed & Breakfast Ravelin, you agree to these house rules.

1. General

Guests should behave as responsible adults and take care of the accommodation, inventory, facilities, and properties of Bed & Breakfast Ravelin.

The main guest is responsible for the behavior of all co-guests, visitors, children, and pets that are part of the reservation.

All instructions from the manager or owner regarding safety, peace, hygiene, or a smooth stay should be followed immediately.

2. Check-in and Check-out

Check-in is possible between 3:00 PM and 10:00 PM, unless otherwise agreed in writing beforehand. Check-out should take place no later than 11:00 AM.

A fee may be charged for exceeding the check-out time.

3. Peace and Respect

We ask guests to consider the peace of the surroundings and immediate neighbors.

A quiet period applies from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Noise should be avoided during this time.

Excessive noise, loud music, shouting, or other disturbing behavior is not permitted.

4. Smoking

Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas of Bed & Breakfast Ravelin. Smoking is only allowed in designated outdoor locations.

Cigarette butts, ash, and other waste should be properly disposed of.

5. Alcohol, Drugs, and Prohibited Substances

Responsible alcohol consumption is permitted.

The use, possession, trading, production, or presence of illegal drugs, narcotics, or other prohibited substances is not allowed.

If there is suspicion of criminal offenses, Bed & Breakfast Ravelin reserves the right to involve the police or other competent authorities.

6. Parties and Events

Parties, gatherings, events, or other activities with more people than registered in the reservation are not permitted without prior written consent from Bed & Breakfast Ravelin.

7. Visitors

Visitors are only allowed after obtaining prior permission from Bed & Breakfast Ravelin. Non-registered persons may not stay overnight in the accommodation. If this is the case, charges will be applied.

8. Pets

Pets are only permitted with prior consent. The owner remains fully responsible for the pet’s behavior.

Pets must not cause damage to buildings, inventory, gardens, or third-party properties.

Any damage, pollution, or additional cleaning costs will be charged in full to the guest.

9. Electric Vehicles

Charging electric vehicles is only permitted using the charging facilities provided by Bed & Breakfast Ravelin.

Charging electric cars through household sockets, extension cables, or other non-designated facilities is not allowed. Electric cars may only be charged at the designated charging station of Bed & Breakfast Ravelin.

Electric bikes may be charged. A special charging facility is available in the locked bike storage area.

Charging costs will be billed separately at the current rate, applicable only for car charging; bike charging is free of charge.

Any damage to installations, buildings, or properties due to incorrect charging or improper use will be the full responsibility of the guest.

10. Safety

Open fires, fireworks, candles, torches, barbecue equipment, or other fire hazards are not permitted at Bed & Breakfast Ravelin. If you have chosen the BBQ option, Bed & Breakfast Ravelin will take care of this.

Emergency exits, escape routes, and safety facilities must remain freely accessible at all times.

11. Damage

The guest is liable for all damage caused during the stay by themselves, co-guests, visitors, children, or pets. Damage should be reported immediately.

Bed & Breakfast Ravelin reserves the right to recover repair, replacement, cleaning, and consequential damages in full from the responsible guest.

12. Serious Violations

Serious violations include:

Causing severe disturbance.

Organizing unauthorized parties or events.

Allowing non-registered overnight guests.

Using or possessing illegal drugs.

Violence, threats, intimidation, or discriminatory behavior.

Intentional damage to property.

Violation of legal regulations.

In case of a serious violation, Bed & Breakfast Ravelin may terminate the stay immediately without refunding already paid amounts.

Furthermore, Bed & Breakfast Ravelin reserves the right to claim full compensation for damages in accordance with the applicable provisions of the German Civil Code (BGB), including §280 BGB.

13. Contractual Penalties

In addition to the right to additional compensation, the following contractual penalties may be imposed:

Smoking in an indoor area: €150.00

Unauthorized party or event: €1000.00

Repeated noise disturbance after warning: €100.00

Late check-out: €25.00 per hour commenced

These amounts serve as a minimum compensation for the additional costs and administrative burdens incurred.

14. Final Provisions

These house rules are an integral part of every reservation and agreement with Bed & Breakfast Ravelin.

Only German law applies to these house rules.

If a provision in these house rules proves to be invalid, the remaining provisions remain fully effective.
