House rules Bed & Breakfast Ravelin
Welcome to Bed & Breakfast Ravelin . To ensure a pleasant, safe, and comfortable stay for all guests, we kindly ask you to respect the following house rules. By entering the accommodation and staying at Bed & Breakfast Ravelin you agree to these house rules.
1. General
Guests are expected to behave like good fathers/mothers/persons and to treat the accommodation, inventory, facilities, and properties of Bed & Breakfast Ravelin with care.
The main guest is responsible for the behavior of all fellow guests, visitors, children, and pets that are part of the reservation.
All instructions from the manager or owner regarding safety, peace, hygiene, or a smooth stay must be followed immediately
2. Check-in and check-out
Check-in is possible between 3:00 PM and 10:00 PM, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Check-out should take place no later than 11:00 AM. If arrival is expected to be later, guests are requested to inform the property in advance.
The regular check-in at Bed & Breakfast Ravelin is possible from 3:00 PM and the regular check-out time is 11:00 AM.
Do you want to check in before 3:00 p.m.? Please contact us in advance. Early check-in is only possible if confirmed in advance by Bed & Breakfast Ravelin .
If you arrive before 3:00 p.m. without a prior appointment, this does not mean that your room is available earlier. In that case, we kindly ask you to return at or after the regular check-in time.
The same applies to a late check-out. Extending the use of the room beyond the regular check-out time is only possible when this has been agreed upon with us in advance and confirmed by us.
Additional charges may apply for late check-out. The possible surcharge depends on the desired time of departure and the availability of the room.
Arriving earlier or leaving later does not automatically entitle you to an adjusted check-in or check-out time.
3. Rest and respect
We kindly request that guests respect the peace and quiet of the surroundings and the immediate neighbours.
Between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM, there is a night rest period. During this period, noise nuisance should be prevented.
Excessive noise, loud music, shouting or other disturbing behavior is not permitted.
4. Smoking
Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas of Bed & Breakfast Ravelin Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas.
Cigarette butts, like other waste, should be neatly cleaned up. So not on the premises of Bed & Breakfast Ravelin or outside.
5. Hygiene, cleanliness and waste disposal
In the interest of hygiene and cleanliness, it is not permitted to leave waste, food scraps, packaging, pizza boxes, and empty bottles in the guest rooms, the garden, on the terrace, or in other parts of the accommodation.
All waste, and in particular perishable food residues, must be disposed of in the designated waste bins or containers as soon as possible. This prevents unpleasant odors, pests, and unnecessary pollution. Empty bottles and other empty items must also be neatly cleared away.
Guests are required to leave the rooms and all commonly used indoor and outdoor areas clean and tidy during their stay and upon departure.
If this requires additional cleaning or waste removal beyond the standard final cleaning, the actual additional cleaning and disposal costs will be charged to the main booker.
6. Alcohol, drugs and prohibited substances
Responsible alcohol consumption is permitted.
The use, possession, trading, production, or presence of illegal drugs, narcotics, or other prohibited substances is not allowed.
If there is a suspicion of criminal offenses, Bed & Breakfast Ravelin the police or other competent authorities may be contacted.
7. Parties and events
Parties, gatherings, events, or other activities involving more people than the guests registered at the time of reservation are not permitted. It is also not allowed to receive or admit non-registered persons into or onto the premises of Bed & Breakfast Ravelin .
8. Visitors
Visitors are only allowed after obtaining prior permission from Bed & Breakfast Ravelin Unregistered individuals are not permitted to stay overnight in the accommodation. If this does occur, charges will be incurred
9. Pets
Pets are only allowed with prior consent. The owner remains fully responsible for the behaviour of the pet.
Pets must not cause damage to buildings, inventory, garden or third-party property. Any damage, pollution or extra cleaning costs will be fully charged to the guest.
10. Electric vehicles
Charging electric vehicles is only permitted through the charging facilities provided for this purpose. Bed & Breakfast Ravelin
Charging electric cars via household sockets, extension cables or other non-designated facilities is not permitted. Electric cars may only be charged via the designated charging facility of Bed & Breakfast Ravelin .
Electric bicycles may be charged. There is a special charging station available in the enclosed bicycle area.
The usage costs will be charged separately at the applicable rate at that time, and this only applies to charging a car, charging bicycles is free of charge.
Any damage to installations, buildings or properties as a result of incorrect loading or improper use is entirely at the expense of the guest.
11. Safety
Open fires, fireworks, candles, torches, barbecue equipment or other fire-hazardous activities are not allowed Bed & Breakfast Ravelin . If you have chosen the BBQ option, Bed & Breakfast Ravelin will take care of this. Emergency exits, escape routes and safety facilities must always remain freely accessible.
12. Damage
The guest is liable for all damage caused during the stay by himself, fellow guests, visitors, children or pets. Damage must be reported immediately. Bed & Breakfast Ravelin reserves the right to claim full compensation for repair, replacement, cleaning and consequential damage from the responsible guest.
13. Serious violations
Serious offences include, among other things:
- Causing severe nuisance.
- Organizing unauthorized parties or events.
- Allowing unregistered overnight guests.
- Using or possessing illegal drugs.
- Violence, threats, intimidation, or discriminatory behavior.
- Intentional damage to property.
- Violation of legal regulations.
In the event of a serious breach, Bed & Breakfast Ravelin the stay may be terminated with immediate effect without refund of already paid amounts.
In addition, Bed & Breakfast Ravelin reserves the right to claim full damages in accordance with the applicable provisions of the German Civil Code (BGB), including §280 BGB.
13. Contractual penalties
Without prejudice to the right to additional damages, the following contractual penalties may be imposed:
- Smoking indoors: €150.00
- Unauthorized party or event: €1000.00
- Repeated noise disturbance after warning: €100.00
- Late check-out: €25.00 per commenced hour
These amounts are considered a minimum compensation for the additional costs and administrative burdens incurred.
14. Final Provisions
These house rules form an integral part of every reservation and agreement with Bed & Breakfast Ravelin .
These house rules are subject exclusively to German law.
If a provision of these house rules proves to be invalid, the remaining provisions will remain fully in force.
