It is an annual German open-air music festival that was first held in 1984, now there are 68 of them. It takes place in Rees-Haldern (NRW) during the period July-August. The festival is not limited to one genre and age category. The focus ranges from experimental metal, punk and indie pop to jazz, classical concerts and German folk music. Played on various stages in the village Haldern and on a large open-air area near the center of Haldern . There is plenty to do for young and old.
