In July 2003, the Rees Sculpture Park was opened as part of the first cross-border project “Rees Sculpture Park – Sint Anthonis”. Since its opening, it has attracted countless guests and art lovers to the area of the medieval city wall every day. The Reeser Sculpture Park is located in the immediate vicinity of the Gemeentemuseum Koenraad Bosman and is accessible free of charge at all times to those interested. On an area of approximately 5,500 square meters, in addition to the fascinating fountain with a rotating granite ball and the archaeological monument, visitors can expect both abstract and representative objects by German and Dutch artists. The sculptures will be exhibited for a period of three years. As part of the eighth exhibition “Sculpture Park VIII”, a total of 23 works of art will be presented in the Reeser Sculpture Park until spring 2023.
